In this course, students will be given tools they need to begin grasping basic concepts of ancient biblical Hebrew. There will be varying methods employed to meet the needs of the individual, practicing both written and oral linguistic skills. The course will navigate lessons found within, “Beginning Biblical Hebrew,” by Cook and Holmstedt, as well as additional materials provided by Kristin Ball.


Instructor: Kristin Ball

Kristin Ball is a recent graduate of William Jessup University with a degree in Bible and Theology. She began studying ancient biblical Hebrew under Richard Rohlfing over a year and a half ago, and has been continuing her pursuit of the language since. She hopes to engage in higher education internationally with the intention of better equipping herself to fulfill her calling to the church. She also hopes to teach at the university level after completing her pursuit of higher education. Kristin is currently the Director of OneHope College and Young Adults at Centerpoint Community Church in Roseville. She hopes to represent and embody the love of Christ in everything she does.
