Ready to take on a new craft skill? This introductory class is for crochet beginners, as well as those who have never even tried a single fiber art! Students will learn the basics of crochet stitches while working on a simple pattern. All materials provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.

Jasmine Suarez is a self-taught fiber artist. Born and raised in New York City, she has dabbled in many creative activities including throwing pottery, professional cake decorating, knitting, sewing, crochet, and more. When not teaching, Jasmine is designing new sewing and crochet patterns.

Register for any class at least 3 weeks in advance and receive a $5 store voucher good towards the purchase of any materials in The Scrap Exchange retail store! Voucher will be handed out at the beginning of the class, and will be valid for two weeks. The voucher may not be applied to Cameron Gallery items or programs. This voucher will only be given to students who register at least 3 weeks prior to the start date/time of the class.
Refunds for class fees will be issued if the class is cancelled by The Scrap Exchange for any reason. If you register for a class and cannot attend, a refund will only be issued if you notify the Scrap Exchange at least 24 hours before the class begins.
