Event description

Description

Come and spend a cosy morning learning the beatiful art of calligraphy.

I'll be hosting my workshops at the magical Squash Court cafe at Deans Court in Wimborne this festive season. During our morning together, I’ll introduce you to traditional copperplate calligraphy and move on to modern calligaphy, we’ll work through the basics of letterforms and alphabets and then practice those skills as well as looking at inks, pens, nibs and papers too. We'll then put your skills to good use and spend the rest of our time together creating some gorgeous Christmas stationery. All to the back-drop of festive Christmas treats, hot chocolate and good company.

You’ll take all of your class materials home with you: pen holder, nibs, ink, calligraphy workbook, tracing sheets and practice sheets so you can keep improving at your own pace at home.

As an additional extra, just for workshop students, I’ll be available to help answer questions via e-mail after class and I’ll also be in touch with exclusive tips and news too.

To make sure that I can spend lots of time with everyone during the workshops, numbers are limited so please get in touch as soon as possible to reserve your place. I can’t wait to meet you!
