Beginner's Knitting

By Gorman Heritage Farm

Overview

Join us this winter to learn something new, enjoy good company, and help build a welcoming crafting community!

Join us for a cozy, instructor-led knitting class at Gorman Heritage Farm. In this introduction workshop to knitting, you’ll learn the basics step-by-step, from casting on to stitching your first simple square — no experience needed.

All materials are provided, including yarn and needles, so you can simply settle in and enjoy the process. We’ll sip tea as we learn, chat, and create in a supportive, community-minded atmosphere.

Whether you’re looking to build a new skill, make something meaningful with your hands, or meet others who value mindful, sustainable crafting, this class offers a warm and inviting place to begin your knitting journey.

This class is not suitable for children under 13 and requires confidence with fine motor skills and simple knots.
