Event description

Description

Start in our garden, which is alive, dynamic and full of colourful WA native plants. Together, we explore the ‘native gardening’ myths so you can develop a better understanding of how easy it can be to enjoy gardening with local native plants, and the pitfalls to avoid. We will introduce you to eco-gardening and why it’s important, then show you ways to introduce Eco-gardening techniques in your own garden at home too! Can you imagine creating a wonderful, alive, sustainable garden without mulch, fertilizer, chemicals or irrigation? Join us for a full day workshop and we’ll show you how to:

  • Plant for long term success
  • Choose the most appropriate plants
  • Increase bird visits
  • Reduce water needs and turn off your irrigation
  • Bring life to those difficult areas in your garden
  • Have color in your garden all year
  • Bring the joy back into gardening

We include lunch, coffee/tea, plus local plants and Eco-garden support tools valued at more than $100 included in the price.
