Have you always wanted to learn to crochet, but learn better from a person than from a book? This is the perfect class for you! We will cover the absolute basics of crochet: selecting the right material, what size crochet hook to use, three basic stitches: chain stitch, single crochet, half-double crochet, and how to "bind off" at the end. Best of all, you'll leave with a fully functional dishcloth to use over and over again!
Note: Registration for this class ends Thursday, 19 January 2017 at 11.59p.
About the Instructor:
Erica Peoples has always had a strong intrest in the arts. She has a background in fine arts (painting and ceramics) and a love for crafting. Her obsession with yarn all started when she spent a summer with her Aunt Gina, who taught Erica the basic stitches. For the past 15 years, Erica has hardly put down the crochet hook, constantly adding to her skills. The thing she loves about crochet is that you can keep it as simple as you want or as complicated as you want and it all looks beautiful. She is thrilled to share her craft with others!
