New York City provides one of the most beautiful and diverse areas for creating amazing images.

Spend two and a half hours with JP exploring this visually complex wonderland while you learn the basics of photography. Professional photographer and instructor JP Pullos will be covering topics like exposure, shutter speed and aperture. After learning how all the features work on your camera, you’ll have an opportunity to practice what you’ve learned. You’re sure to create some amazing images with your new-found knowledge as you unearth the wonderful visual bounty that is New York City. No need to have a fancy camera! Bring what you have and you'll walk away knowing more about your camera, photography and with some beautiful images!

This class will happen either near Central Park or Madison Square Park. The exact location will be emailed out 24 hours prior to the class start time.

JP Pullos

JP Pullos has been a professional photographer for six years. In that time, his images have shown up in The New York Times, GQ, New York Magazine, Women’s Wear Daily, The New York Observer, The Village Voice and Time Out New York.

He teaches photography classes in New York City and has taught over 2,500 people how to use their cameras. His Central Park photography class was chosen by NY Magazine as one of the top ten things to do over Memorial Day weekend 2010.

When he isn’t teaching, you’ll most likely find JP photographing celebrities on and off the red carpet.
