Beginner-friendly flow yoga class! Props optional. Options will be given for more advanced students.

About this Event

Join me for a beginner-friendly Vinyasa or Flow Yoga class! We will focus mainly on Level 1 asanas (postures) working on achieving proper alignment, building strength, and improving flexibility. I will help you connect to the breath and the breath to the movement. Occasionally, we will work up to a more intermediate pose. When we do, the point is to challenge ourselves and have fun!

My practice isn't perfect, and I don't expect yours to be either! I aspire to provide a safe space for beginners who may have been hesitant to practice yoga in the past, so I do not chant and I do not say namaste. Instead, I discuss the power of positivity, gratitude, kindness, compassion, and mindfulness. Options will be provided to more experienced yoga practitioners. I am a certified yoga instructor, teaching mainly Vinyasa and/or Flow Yoga focusing on the connection of breath to movement. I have been practicing yoga fairly regularly for the past 7 years and have been deepening my practice for the last 2, adding in regular meditation, journaling, and a more consistent practice. This summer, I received my certification through the Yoga and Ayurveda Center in East Stroudsburg, PA.
