BEGINNER BASICS IN SEWING ESSENTIALS IS JUST THAT! IF YOU'VE NEVER SEWN BEFORE, NEVER OPENED THE SEWING MACHINE IN THE CLOSET AND HAVE NO CLUE OF THE SKILLS NEEDED TO GET STARTED TO SEW...THEN THIS CLASS SERIES IS FOR YOU.

THIS CLASS SERIES IS NOT FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE NOT NEW TO SEWING, HAVE HAD SEWING LESSONS , KNOW HOW TO USE THEIR SEWING MACHINE, TRYING TO FINISH A SEWING PROJECT, AN INTERMEDIATE STUDENT OF SEWING, THINKING YOUR GOING TO MAKE PERFECT APPAREL/ACCESSORIES/DRAPERY AND/OR TRYING TO PERFECT YOUR SKILL TO GET YOU TO DESIGNER STATUS. THIS IS STRICTLY FOR BEGINNERS WHO ARE INTERSTED IN THE SKILL AND STARTING FROM THE BEGINNING.

ONTO THE FUN INFORMATION:

Learning to sew takes time and patience. A good teacher/instructor will guide and teach you the basic essentials needed to either get you interested in continuing to learn the skill ,and/or you may find out it's not a skill that is right for you.

Full-time, Fashion Designer and shop owner, Charla Ruschelle, has been sewing for 30 years, received her bachelor's degree in Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising and has worked in the apparel and fashion industry for 15+ years. Charla is a mentor to many young and matured who seek interest in the field of fashion and/or who are interested in learning to sew. Charla is a firm believer of the basics. Without the basics, you can not perfect and master the skill. Every class taught is a step by step learning tool and must go step by step, in order to get through the next one that follows.

This will be the second year that Charla has provided this class series.*

" I get request all the time from individuals wanting to learn how to sew. Some want to be designers overnight, others want to wear their outfits next day, some want to hem the bottom of their pants and others basically want me to ultimately sew for them. That's not exactly my vision nor objective for my class sewing series. I learned to sew at age 7 and it became my therapy. Today I'm now in a position to teach the younger generation this skill that has become a lost art and trade. This is my mentoring mission and objective."

*Class Series are for students between the ages of 11 years old to adult.

Note: When registering for the Class Series for Beginners, you are making a commitment to learn the sewing essentials. Each class is a step by step and all have to be taken in order. Students have 1 make-up class pass given, in which, the make-up availability will be based upon availability of instructor, and must be made up before going into the next class session. Class Series is Non-Refundable.
