Event Details

Southeast Rural Community Assistance Project (SERCAP) presents training for professionals in the water infrastructure industry:

This interactive class is designed for utility officials and personnel to learn how to develop and implement a Capital Improvements Program (CIP), in addition to basic capital improvement planning principles and practices. The class focuses on Capital Improvements Programs for smaller water and wastewater utilities, and how to begin a program if the utility does not already have a CIP. Personnel working at utilities that already have a CIP will find it informative as well. 

The class will take place at the Greensboro Community Center, where the North County Branch is located, in the meeting room. The meeting room belongs to  Maryland Rural Development Corporation (MRDC).The meeting room and restrooms are ADA compliant.

Date: December 12, 2017

Location: The address is 101 Cedar Lane, Greensboro, MD. Free parking is available.

Time: 9 am – 1 pm

Please register with Eventbrite. The class is free, but there is limited seating for 30, and there is a waitlist. 

If there is enough interest in this class, we will add a second class in the afternoon.

(SERCAP) is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization which assists small rural towns and communities needing aid in upgrading their water and wastewater systems. SERCAP also provides training and technical assistance to rural residents for operation and maintenance of those systems, for capacity building and for economic development in their communities.
