Event description

Description

Please join the Windsor Chapter - UVM Extension Master Gardeners in collaboration with the Justin Morrill Homestead for this timely and relevant program. Both the education program and volunteering in the gardens count for Master Gardener hours. The event is free to Master Gardeners, MG students, and alumni, and there is a suggested $10 donation for the general public.

Why are pollinators important and what do they need to thrive? Learn basic types of pollinators, with particular emphasis on various native bees, and how they support global and local food production. Find out which perennial flowers and habitats are best for attracting pollinators, and how to conserve pollinators in urban, natural, and agricultural environments.
