Event Details

Beers Made By Walking presents a walk on Snoqualimie Valley Trail led by Mountains to Sound Greenway with Brickyard Brewing, Hi-Fi Brewing, Stoup Brewing and Tin Dog Brewing.

Park at Oxbow Farm in the gravel lot located on the left just as you turn in. Mountains to Sound Greeway is organizing a shuttle to transport attendees to the start of the walk in Duvall. The walk will end back at the farm and parking lot.

Come take a walk on Snoqualmie Valley Trail with Mountains to Sound Greenway and Seattle area breweries. The Snoqualmie Valley is a magnificent rural valley just minutes from the greater Seattle area and has some of the most fertile soil in the nation. The hike will explore the trail from Duvall to Oxbow Farm, featuring a tour of Oxbow Farm, an organic farm and educational center. Weather forcast for Saturday are for record breaking highs, so please pack plenty of water as there is no potable water along the trail.

Beers Made By Walking

Beers Made By Walking is a program that invites brewers to go on nature hikes, and urban walks, and make new beer inspired by the edible and medicinal plants from the trail. The initial BMBW program took place in Colorado Springs in 2011. Since then we have worked with over 90 breweries in 4 state to create unique beers that give drinkers a sense of place. These place based beers become a drinkable landscape portrait of the trails we walk and hike in participating cities.
