FOR SERIOUS BEER LOVERS ONLY! 

Join us to celebrate SF Beer Week with Jim Ford from Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in Delaware!

This event will be held in our private upstairs loft. RSVP through eventbrite now to attend as space is limited.

We're offering a 4 beer sampler (with optional food pairing). 

For those having dinner, we recommend arriving between 5:30pm and 7pm. 

Beer talk with Jim Ford from Dogfish Head Craft Brewery will start at 7:30pm.


Beer & Food Pairing Menu:

BEER + BITE

Piercing Pils | ABV: 6.0, IBU: 35
A Perry-Pils hybrid, Piercing Pils is a Czech Style Pilsner brewed with a white pear tea and pear juice.  Both the juice and the tea were added in the kettle during the whirlpool (after the boil) for maximum flavor and aroma contribution. 

Poppin’ Popcorn
Popcorn, chickpeas, brewers yeast, Spice Monkey popcorn seasoning & roasted buckwheat

POUR + PAIRING 

Namaste | ABV: 4.8, IBU: 20
A witbier bursting with good karma. Made with dried organic orange slices, fresh-cut lemongrass and a bit of coriander, this Belgian-style white beer is a great thirst quencher.

Caesar Salad
Hearts of romaine, parmesan cheese, housemade Caesar dressing

BEER + BITE

Palo Santo Moron | ABV: 12.0, IBU: 50
Unfiltered, unfettered, unprecedented brown ale aged in handmade wooden brewing vessels. The caramel and vanilla complexity unique to this beer comes from the exotic Paraguayan Palo Santo wood from which these tanks were crafted. Palo Santo means "holy tree," and its wood has been used in South American winemaking communities.

Chicory Braised Short Rib
Short rib, chicory, burdock, root vegetables, grist


POUR  + PAIRING

World Wide Stout | ABV: 15 – 20, IBU: 70
Brewed with a ridiculous amount of barley, World Wide Stout is dark, roasty and complex. This Age-able Ale clocks in at 15-20% ABV and has a depth more in line with a fine port than with a can of cheap, mass-marketed beer.
 

Bacon & Ice Cream
Masala soaked maple-bacon, French vanilla ice cream, dark chocolate sauce

Spice Monkey Restaurant in downtown Oakland serves a world fusion of foods with housemade spice-blends, marinades and sauces influenced by their travels around the world. It's location is in one of Oakland's historic landmarks -- the old setting of Howden & Sons Tile Company showroom, which housed the company at the turn of the 19th century, or the "golden age" of tile in the US. They have a full bar, 12 draft beers, wines on tap and impressive cocktails.
