Description

UPDATE 4/10/17: Speaker applications have closed. Stay tuned for the speaker lineup early May! In the meantime, early bird tickets will be available up until speakers are announced.

Join us for the third BEEP (Built Environment Emerging Professionals) Lightning Talks! Reserve your spot in the audience NOW... past years events have all sold out! Tickets are open to the (21+) public and include one (1) drink ticket and appetizers (pizza, hummus plate, etc.).

Lightning Talks are engaging, fast-paced presentations in which 20 slides are shown for 20 seconds each. The concise format is popular for dynamic multi-speaker events worldwide.

This year's theme is "How do you OVERCOME obstacles?" Get creative! Obstacles can apply to size parameters, funding, culture, policy, technology, systemic oppression, timeframe, NIMBYism, anything!

This is a chance to network with individuals from across disciplines, enjoy an evening full of engaging presentations on topics related to the build environment, and have a drink or two among good company.
