Beekeeping theory course

This course is not intended for complete beginners. If you are just starting out then we recommend the Taster session and the Beginners course.

For those who have some practical experience of beekeeping this course will take a deeper look at the whys and wherefores of what is needed to successfully keep bees.

The course is six weeks long and will be delivered via Zoom so no cold nights driving in the dark.

Starting Tuesday February 10 until March 17.

• the costs associated with beekeeping
• equipment and tools used
• pests and diseases
• natural history - in other word about the bees themselves
• swarms and swarm control
• activities throughout the beekeeping year

The cost for this course will be £90 per person.
