This is a two part course from 9AM to 3PM on Saturday, February 20th and 27th. Please ensure that you are able to attend both days as space is limited. Topics covered include:
- Bee biology
- Beekeeping equipment
- Apiary start-up
- Seasonal management
- Pest management
- Honey harvesting
- Package/Nuc installation
*This is an in-person class. Attend at your own risk. If you have an underlying health condition or are concerned with group interaction as it relates to COVID-19, it is advised that you DO NOT attend this class. Anyone who attends this class assumes all risks regarding COVID-19 exposure. If you are exhibiting signs or symptoms of COVID-19, or have been recently exposed to someone with COVID-19, DO NOT attend this class.
We will provide coffee, hot tea, and water. Please bring snacks and a sack lunch.
