This wokshop will cover a variety of topics and will focus on nectar sources for honey crops, using bees for pollination, locating a place to keep your hives, leasing land for hive placement, splitting your hives and making queens. Peter will talk about his use of Top Bar Beekeeping technique. Examples of Top Bar Hives - Kenyan, The People Hive (Warre) and Perone will be on site for paticipants to view. He will also discuss value-added products that include candles, lotions, soap, lip balm, honey comb and chunk honey.
