Event description

Description

After sell-out shows and standing ovations in venues across London, BECOMING ELECTRA is coming to The St Leonard Public House as part of a UK wide tour.

It’s the night of Electra’s 18th birthday party.

The guests are arriving. Figgy and Rox have just got here from the march with their ‘free the nipple’ placards and Rivkah’s just walked in with the girls from synagogue and leftover gefilte fish.

Tonight, Electra is going to have to channel her idol, Avril Lavigne, as her two world collide.

With show-stopping songs and comical, compelling storytelling, BECOMING ELECTRA: A QUEER MITZVAH is a show like no other: exploring what happens when Jewish and queer cultures collide.

Written by Isla van Tricht. Directed by Tash Hyman. Performed by Guy Woolf.
