Presenter P. Michael Meyerstein is President of The Aleph Group, Inc., a fundraising consulting firm he founded in 1996, following a twenty-five year career in senior management positions with social service, political advocacy, educational, and faith-based organizations. He has raised nearly $ 30 million on behalf of not-for-profit organizations through annual appeals, corporate and capital campaigns. Most recently his firm concluded three out-of-state campaigns totaling $4 million. He counsels not-for-profits in campaign management (capital/endowment, annual giving and corporate). He also conducts feasibility studies, Board and staff development, event fundraising, development audits and planning, and planned giving marketing. His firm is registered with the Maryland Secretary of State. He holds C.F.R.E.- Certified Fund Raising Executive credentials from the national AFP. In addition, he holds five academic degrees and an honorary doctorate from such distinguished institutions as Columbia University, New York University, Jewish Theological Seminary.
