Description

Everyone wants to invest in the next Facebook but the reality is there are way more Lame Ducks out there than those rare Unicorns*. There are plenty of excellent early stage companies to invest in if you know what to look for - but do you know what to look for? Remember, these aren't publicly traded companies with a litany of financial data to research and fact check.

Become a Startup Angel Investor will be an immersive and invaluable experience taking place over three info-packed hours in our Workhaus Financial District offices. Learn how to evaluate potential investments more effectively, with greater confidence.

This class is designed to introduce you to the world of startup angel investing and is meant for novice to aspiring investors in startup tech companies. This introductory workshop will cover the core concepts including: DIY vs. Angel Fund Investing | Creating a Portfolio Plan | Where to Access Good Deals | Rules of Early Stage Investing | How Not Get Taken Advantage Of | Active vs. Passive Investing Options | Due Diligence | Deal Terms | Leveraging Investment Technologies

*p.s. if you don't know what a startup Unicorn is you'll definitely want to take this class ;)
