The CPCM and CCCM are certifications awarded to candidates who meet rigorous standards, including experience, education, training, and knowledge. The NCMA professional certification program is designed to elevate professional standards, enhance individual performance, and distinguish those who demonstrate knowledge essential to the practice of contract management.

Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM)

A Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) certification validates your education, training, experience, and knowledge of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC).

Eligibility:

  • A degree from a regionally or Distance Education Accreditation Council (DEAC) accredited institution at the bachelor's level.

  • One year of work experience in the contract management field.

  • 80 hours of continuing professional education; see our Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Guide for details.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understanding the principles of contract management

  • Understanding the role of legal contract in business relationships

  • Understanding the supplier management and Tenders

  • Understanding the structure of the legal contract

Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM®)

A CPCM® (Certified Professional Contracts Manager) credential holders demonstrates
that you have met NCMA’s highest standards for education, training, and experience,
and have demonstrated your knowledge of the contract management competencies in
the Contract Management Body of Knowledge (CMBOK)

Eligibility:

  • A degree from a regionally or Distance Education Accreditation Council (DEAC) accredited institution at the bachelor's level.

  • Degrees from outside the U.S. must be evaluated by an independent third party such as World Education Services or Foreign Credits.

  • 120 hours of continuing professional education

Learning Objectives:

  • Learning and Implementing Pre-ward Competencies

  • Learning the skills of acquisition competencies and post-award competencies

  • Understanding the legal requirements and service level contracts

  • Learning and Understanding Business Competencies
