The George Washington Memorial Parkway is home to over 200 rare plants found nowhere else in the world! Invasive plants are rapidly threatening this biodiversity, mature native trees, and property values. The National Park Service is asking you to help control invasive plants in the park.

Theodore Roosevelt Island is just north of Route 50 near Rosslyn and can only be accessed by going northbound on George Washingotn Memorial Parkway. Please meet at Monument at 10am or the pedestrian bridge is arriving early.
