A Psalm for the Wild-Built

Welcome to the first book in a delightful, hopeful new series from Hugo Award-winner Becky Chambers.

It's been centuries since the robots of Panga gained self-awareness and laid down their tools; centuries since they wandered, en masse, into the wilderness, never to be seen again; centuries since they faded into myth and urban legend.

One day, the life of a tea monk is upended by the arrival of a robot, there to honor an old promise of checking in. The robot cannot go back until one question is answered:

What do people need?

Becky Chambers is the science fiction author of A Psalm for the Wild-Built , and her Hugo Award-winning Wayfarers series, among others. Her books have also been nominated for the Arthur C. Clarke Award, the Locus Award, and the Women's Prize for Fiction, to name a few. Becky has a background in performing arts, and grew up in a family heavily involved in space science. She hopes to see Earth from orbit one day.

Fugitive Telemetry

Martha Wells's Hugo and Nebula Award-winning Murderbot series blends tight plots, dry humor, hard scifi and a deeply relatable, secretly emotional, slowly evolving murder machine in a way that no other author could quite pull off.

In this, the sixth installment of the series, Murderbot has a problem: it didn't murder the human, but it really needs to find out who did. Murderbot teams up with the very human Preservation Station security team to discover not just who killed this victim, but who the victim even is -- and why they're dead.

Martha Wells has written many fantasy novels, including The Wizard Hunters, Wheel of the Infinite, the Books of the Raksura series (beginning with The Cloud Roads and ending with The Harbors of the Sun), and the Nebula-nominated The Death of the Necromancer, as well as YA fantasy novels, short stories, and nonfiction. Her New York Times and USA Today-bestselling Murderbot Diaries series has won the Hugo, Nebula, Locus, and Alex Awards.
