Description

The Beaumont Convention & Visitors Bureau's Destination Training is an award-winning program designed to educate and inspire a renewed sense of pride in your community. This free program consists of a half-day (8 am - 2 pm) motorcoach tour of Beaumont that introduces you to the museums, history and culture of southeast Texas. Breakfast and lunch are included along with course materials. A graduation ceremony concludes the day where you will receive an official Beaumont Destination Training graduation certificate.

This free program is essential for hospitality industry employees as well as local residents looking to answer the question, "What is there to do in Beaumont?"

Please note: This is a professional networking tour & children are not permitted.

We ask that you register at least a week in advance and provide a 48 hour cancellation notice.

  • Time: The training begins at 8:00am and the bus leaves at 8:30 sharp. If you are running late, please contact the CVB (409) 880-3749 to let us know you are on your way. It is very important that the group stay on schedule. This is a fast-pace tour to showcase as much as Beaumont in one day as possible.

  • Parking: Park in the lot behind the Convention & Visitors Bureau Building between McFaddin and Calder Ave. Please leave the spots next the the CVB building empty for convention clients and visitors during the day.

  • Attire: Business Casual attire is requested, wear comfortable shoes for walking but please, no flip-flops.
