We are proud to announce our second annual Beats for Boobs™ event in Seattle, Washington! Our team is thrilled to bring the very best in art, fashion, food & music to the iconic Belltown music venue, The Crocodile, on Wednesday, October 19th!
Our VIP area, generously sponsored by The Walking Company (www.thewalkingcompany.com), will include contributions from Sound Spirits, Marination and Talking Rain. Thank You, Sponsors!
The Event
The Beats for Boobs™ Seattle team is diligently working to craft a very special evening featuring more of what you came out for last year – amazing local DJs, artists, fashion designers and culinary masterminds. The Venue
Located in the city’s buzzing Belltown neighborhood, The Crocodile is a premiere music venue with deep history and roots in Seattle’s music scene. It has hosted a diverse roster of world-class talent for more than 20 years, and played host to the creation of “Seattle Sound” in the early 90’s. Beats for Boobs™ is proud to host our second annual fundraiser in this historical setting which is well equipped to handle the performances and activities offered at this spirited fundraiser.
The Beneficiaries
Beats for Boobs™ Seattle is proud to announce the local beneficiaries to benefit from the proceeds of this year’s event. Beats for Boobs™ is a 100% volunteer organization. Proceeds from ticket entrance, merchandise sales, donations, raffle tickets and sponsorships will go towards supporting these Seattle based organizations.
BREAST CANCER RESOURCE CENTER

The BCRC was established to address the holistic needs of those who have been
affected by breast cancer. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life for
those touched by breast cancer and to increase the awareness and knowledge of
breast cancer and breast health. Clients are met by staff that are attentive,
warm and caring in a supportive environment while being helped with diagnostic
vouchers and/or receiving services all at no cost to the client. These services
range from wigs, hats, head coverings, prosthesis (knitted or regular), post
surgical camisole, bras, and classes for relaxation or exercise. Everything is
about creating a community that is welcoming and open so that we can fulfill
our mission and motto...Because no one should face breast cancer alone.
YOUNG SURVIVAL COALITION – SEATTLE

Young Survival Coalition is the premier global organization dedicated to the
critical issues unique to young women & breast cancer. Together, we are a
powerful community fighting breast cancer in young women. The Seattle Affiliate
was formed in 2002 by a group of young survivors and has proudly served over
130 young women with breast cancer in the Puget Sound region. We offer direct
support services, resources, connections & outreach so women feel empowered
& hopeful. We believe no woman diagnosed under age 40 should be left to
face breast cancer alone.
SEATTLE CANCER CARE ALLIANCE

Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) is a cancer treatment center that unites
doctors from Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, UW Medicine and Seattle
Children’s. Our goal, every day, is to turn cancer patients into cancer
survivors. Our purpose is to lead the world in the prevention and treatment of
cancer. Beats for Boobs™
will be supporting three specific programs at SCCA: the Family
Assistance Fund, the MammoVan and SCCA House. The Family Assistance Fund
helps clinic staff respond to immediate patient needs such as
transportation and groceries while in treatment. The MammoVan will
supply mammograms to un-insured or underinsured women. SCCA House is
a patient housing facility designed to address the physical, emotional
and logistical challenges of cancer treatment
