The Blerch Green Lake Fun Run is back this year! Now with giant fuzzy pizza blankets. Cover yourself in obnoxious sweaters and Christmas lights and run around Green Lake with Matthew Inman, AKA The Oatmeal. He will be there signing books and serving up hot chocolate and cookies after the race!
Your entry comes with:
Enjoy some hot chocolate, cookies at Northwest Crossfit after the run. We'll also be selling Blerchandise, Exploding Kittens and Oatmeal books.
Check out this crazy video from the 2014 run. Seriously trippy.
Q: Can I bring my (well-behaved) dog?
A: Unfortunately, no. The path is not super wide and it'll be pretty dark out, so for everyone's safety--no dogs.
Q: Can I bring my kid in a stroller and run?
A: For the same reasons as above, sorry, no strollers.
Q: What is your refund policy?
A; The Blerch Holiday Run has a no-refund policy.
Q: Is there a virtual option?
A: Nope, no virtual option.
Q: If I can't run, can I transfer my bib to someone else?
A: Sorry, no transfers.
Beat The Blerch is a 10k, half marathon, and full marathon inspired by this comic about running. Organized by The Oatmeal, 2014 was the inaugural year of this race and now it’s your chance to figuratively (and literally), Beat The Blerch again in 2016.
