BEACONS is a series of images from Lake Baikal in Siberia documenting the surreal ice road system that guides travellers across the vast frozen expanse of the largest freshwater lake on the planet.

To connect one side of the lake to the other the locals 'plant' small pine trees in the icy surface that act as beacons ensuring safe passage for people making the crossing.

The exhibition features over 25 large format prints at the Copper House Gallery in Dublin which opened virtually on February 17th and is now open for visitors on a limited capacity Please book a slot that suits you to visit.
