About this Event
Class Description
We know that finishing treatment can bring about mixed emotions for people living with cancer. Many people feel reassured by their regular visits and interactions with their healthcare providers. Figuring out “new normal” routines can create some anxiety.
This class will review various aspects of life after cancer treatment with the focus on health and well-being and preventing recurrence; we will discuss topics such as what to expect the first year after treatments (follow up visits, survivorship care planning visit, and routine prevention screenings), healthy eating, stress management, exercise, movement and rest, and mindset.
Class will be held in person at Tunnell Cancer Center, with a limit of 16 people (per COVID-19 guidelines).
