Description

September is Hunger Action Month - all proceeds from this event will be donated The Good Shepherd Food Bank in support of The Backpack Program to help fight child hunger in Maine. The BackPack Program provides children with healthy, easy-to-prepare food during weekends and school vacations, when the school meals they rely on are unavailable. Good Shepherd Food Bank partners with schools to discreetly provide children with bags filled with whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and protein. Since 2010, the BackPack Program has grown to reach over 1,000 children and their families. For more information on the BackPack Program go to https://www.gsfb.org/how-we-help/programs/child-hunger-programs/backpack-program/

About the Venue:

The Well is located in the beautiful seaside town of Cape Elizabeth, Maine. We are lucky to be situated on Jordan's Farm, which is a working farm on 122 acres of land. Our ingredients are sourced locally as much as possible. Most of our food comes straight from Jordan's Farm and surrounding farms in Cape Elizabeth.
Our menu changes on a daily basis depending on what's in season and the availability of the best ingredients. We invite you to look around the farm stand, sit at our fire pit and catch up with friends, or with just a small donation you can pick your own flowers from the garden.
