About this event
4GIRLS is a non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire and empower middle school girls to identify themselves as authentic, confident, and resilient, preparing them for real life success. We do so through our annual workshop and quarterly empowerment events which are completely FREE to our middle school participants.
Our August Empowerment Event is designed specifically for the youngest members of our audience: girls ENTERING middle school in Fall 2022. This transition can cause some nervousness and anxiety, so 4GIRLS has designed an event to help girls manage those feelings. Participants can expect to engage in journaling, grounding techniques, identification of priorities, goal-setting, and an opportunity to have a Q&A with our Jr. Mentors (high school volunteers) about what to expect in middle school.
