Description

This session is open to anyone interested in learning more about Mindfulness, MBSR .
Make this first step to enrolling in the 8 week program! :-)
Just drop in and learn few things about mindfulness and stress reduction, and experience mindfulness practices taught in the class. You will meet the course instructor, other interested participants, see the lovely Aquariana studio.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a systematic training in mindfulness meditation and other simple tools that can help you manage stress and discover your own reserve of inner peace. The course helps you integrate mindfulness in daily life through 8 weekly classes daily home practice assignments, and a half day-long mini retreat.

You will learn how to be in the present moment to calm your body by science-based mindfulness/meditation techniques.

Mindfulness meditation has been clinically proven to reduce stress, depression and anxiety. It can also improve concentration, wellbeing and inner balance.

Thanks to mindfulness/meditation you can:
- reduce your stress and worries
- relax and release tention
- sleep better
- calm your mind
- be more positive and open
- be more creative and focused


Plus we offer cushions and yoga mats. No need to bring anything, just dress comfortable.
You will be asked to remove your shoes before entering the studio. You can but don't have to walk bare food, you are invited to bring your socks or other shoes to change.
There are changing rooms.

Duration: 19.00 till 20.30
This includes:
-mindfulness introduction and practice
- tea/soft drinks and snacks
- networking/talks
- tour around the place.

Bus M 19 - U-Mehringdamm – 7 min.
The studio is in the backyard, 4 th floor.
It is a beautiful specious studio for workshops and holistic therapies.

Joanna Nogaj bio:
I am a psychologist and Certified Mindfulness Meditation & MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) teacher, a member of the Polish Mindfulness Association. I live in Berlin and works as a mindfulness trainer in Berlin and Poland.
I have been working as counsellor and trainer for corporate and individual clients.
My clients are i.e Ikea, Glaxo Smith Kline, Bridgestone.
I am a stress reduction book author “Odstresownik. Mała Księga Spokoju.” Publicat 2016) and a wellness blogger.
I also cooperate with NOG’s and business organizations (i.e Dress for Success, PsychoSomaPolis).
My work is under supervision of a British MBSR/mindfulness teacher -Bodhin Philip Woodward.
