Coffee & Pie

Directed by Douglas Horn

Runtime 15 minutes

In this self-proclaimed anti-romantic comedy, yet offbeat love story of sorts, couple June and October are breaking up. Manipulative June feels her moral superiority justifies the breakup. A “confucked” October learns from seasoned waitress Billy-Jean, that revenge is a dish best served with pie.

The story is about discovering the patterns we fall into as people and, faced with that discovery,
the decisions we make. It’s all well and good to “know yourself” but then, what are you going to

Tragically Oliver

Directed by Autumn Perrotta

Runtime 12 minutes

Filmmaker Expected to Attend

World Premiere

Oliver has strong opinions, and if you don't agree with them watch out. Along with his co-worker Phoebe and best friend Charlie watch them explore day to day life at this quaint little record store.

Be Good

Directed by Todd Looby

Runtime 70 minutes

When Mary (Amy Seimetz) returns to work after her maternity leave, Paul (Thomas J. Madden) is in charge of their "spirited" baby, Pearl, as he struggles to write a screenplay. Mary misses Pearl terribly, but her benefits are the only security to family has. As Paul's disinterest in his work grows, money becomes tighter and his attachment to Pearl intensifies - Mary is left out in the cold. It all comes to a head one day when Paul's good nature gets the best of him and he quickly becomes the jerk he thought he'd never be.

Be Good is essentially about the crux many young and first-time parents are currently traversing in this age of a bad economy, alternative employment, shifting parental roles and attachment parenting. With a light touch, it explores such relevant topics as the constant trade-off in maintaining your identity while providing care for those you love.
