Description

Wednesday 5th October 2016 - Conference from 10.00am - 1.00pm (approximately). Registration from 9.30am.

Carewise is hosting a unique event for solicitors who provide advice to clients who are considering planning and paying for long-term care for themselves or a relative. You’ll be aware of the myriad of choices that people can be faced with often at a stressful stage in their lives.
Come along to this free CPD event to hear from leading experts in the field of financial planning for later-life and find out about the advantages to solicitors of establishing close working relationships with local financial advisers.

The event will be chaired by Tim Anstee, one of the founding directors of The Wealth Care Partnership and one of the seven independent financial advisors on the Carewise panel.

 Guest speakers include:

  • Tish Hanifan - Founder and Joint Chairman of the Society of Later life Advisers (SOLLA).

  • Dave Seager - Development Director, Solicitors for Independent Financial Advice.

  • Tom Scott - Director at Big River Ltd and one of the seven independent financial advisors on the Carewise panel who offer expert care funding advice.

  • Kevin Dodd - Director at Care Asset Management and one of the seven independent financial advisors on the Carewise panel.

Solicitors who establish meaningful relationships with independent financial advisers whose specialisations and qualifications complement their own, will be better able to provide a more comprehensive multi-disciplinary service to their mutual advantage.

Places available on a first come first served basis.
