“Be Bilingual! Sé Bilingüe!” es un intercambio cultural y de idiomas

Es una manera fácil y original de practicar un idioma y ayudar a alguien con lo que tú sabes, además de ser una oportunidad divertida de conocer gente nueva.

La mecánica del evento es bastante sencilla de seguir.

Los participantes deben registrarse antes del evento. Al inicio del mismo, se lleva a cabo un registro inicial donde se indica el número de mesa del participante.

Así se forman parejas al azar de una persona con inglés como idioma dominante y su contraparte, una persona con español como idioma dominante. Las parejas tienen 10 minutos para hablar sólo en inglés, seguidos de 10 minutos de sólo español, antes del primero de cuatro cambios de parejas, donde el proceso de conversación (10min cada idioma) se repite.

¡Cada pareja comparte una conversasión de 20 minutos, más que suficientes para explorar un tema!

De esta manera, todos los participantes tienen la oportunidad de practicar su idioma con diferentes nativos, todo el evento, teniendo conversaciones interesantes y de temas totalmente libres a elegir.

Be Bilingual! no es una clase, es un evento social donde aprendes detalles lingüísticos y culturales. Aprendes a comunicarte sin timidez en un idioma diferente al tuyo.

Los eventos tienen lugar cada martes a las 6pm en Rico’s Café. Mientras disfrutas de tu tiempo con nativos, descubrirás el ambiente este agradable café.

“Be Bilingual! Sé Bilingüe!” is a cultural and language exchange.

It's an easy and new way to practice languages and to help someone with what we know. Get the chance to meet new people in a different way!

The event's procedure is easy to follow. Participants must have register online beforehand. At the start of the event, a call its made to asign table numbers.

This way, random couples are made, blending a english speaker with a spinsh speaker. The pair has 20 minutes to talk (10 minutes in each language) before changing the table and begging a new 20 minutes conversation with someone else.

Subjects to abord are totally free to choose! However, the host will have some flash cards with questions or themes if either you nor your partener can't think of something to talk about.

As you can see, everyone will be able to talk to at least 4 spanish speakers during the event, having interesting conversations about the most differents matters.

Be Bilingual! is not a class. It's a social event where you can get some cultural or linguistic facts you didn't know before.

This event takes place every tuesday at 6pm at Rico's Cafe (Zona Dorada, in front of The Inn at Mazatlan Hotel).
