Description

If you ever wanted to learn how to become a beekeeper this course is for you! This one day course will cover all the basics of beekeeping including biology, equipment, feeding, and care required to keep honeybees.

What do I get with my registration?

Included with your registration is One Year Membership to Bucks County Beekeepers Association, lunch from Panera, a beginner's beekeeping book, membership and informational packet, and a full day's worth of information from experienced speakers on how to start beekeeping!

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No. This event is open to all ages!

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is ample parking in the lot of the Penn State Extension office.

What can I bring into the event?

Bring any items you like with you. There is a vending machine in the lobby for any extra drinks you might want. Lunch from Panera will be provided. We recommend a pen and extra paper for notes taking. Bring your enthusiasm for learning how to keep bees and any questions you might have!

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No need to bring a printed ticket. We will have the names of those who registered and check you in upon your arrival.

If you would like to send someone else in your place, please notify us ahead of time.
