Carrie Ross

Boston, MA

Carrie Ross is an emerging comic and writer originally from Detroit. Her peculiar takes on daily life and entertainment of absurd hypotheticals quickly helped her stand out among Boston’s distinguished comics. Effortlessly funny, she manages to make even the darkest, most bizarre material hilarious and accessible to audiences. She'd love it if you'd giggle before she has to return to the Mother ship.

Angela Sawyer

Boston, MA

Angela is a frumpy middle-aged lady who does a lot of freaky things. You can catch her doing stand-up at Midway Or The Highway (every Sunday at 9 + every 4th Wednesday at 6) and the Riot Theater Shuffle Slot (every first Thursday at 9). And sometimes, she makes creepy sound effects, motorcycle revs, or gargly sounds behind, during or even instead of jokes that have words in them. She also helps run Storytime At The Ape's Nest (a monthly show where people read original sci-fi stories over improvised space-noise), and the monthly edition of Story Club Boston.

Kathleen DeMarle

Boston, MA

Taller than the average American male, Kathleen DeMarle is a Boston-based stand-up comedian and writer. With a mix of self-deprecating humor and oddball storytelling, she’ll make you laugh so hard, you’ll cry. Kathleen has performed comedy all across New England. She has written for comedy websites including: unscenecomedy.com, thehiggsweldon.com and wicfdaily.com. Recently, Kathleen was selected to perform at the 2017 Charm City Comedy Festival and the 2017 StandUp ThrowDown Tournament at Improv Boston. She gets the inspiration for her comedy from her wacky family, those awkward moments we all have, and life in the big city with a one-eyed dog.

Kylie Alexander

Boston, MA

Kylie Alexander is a comedian and artist who has been performing in the Boston area for over 5 years. She's been featured on the Nerdist Network, performed in the Women in Comedy Festival, and is the founder of Laugh While You Can, a group of comedians who produce monthly benefit shows for organizations in need. She has hugged both Elizabeth Warren and Larry David and has been told she is "unhealthily focused" on her 2 persian cats.

Dylan Uscher

Boston, MA

Dylan Uscher is a gay, cancer-surviving stand-up comic from Boston, MA. Dylan uses a narrative storytelling style of comedy to talk about some risqué topics (mostly grindr hookups) in a way that's been described as, "dirty, but really cute at the same time," which basically describes him perfectly. He's performed at venues across New England like The Comedy Studio, Laugh Boston, The Rhode Island Comedy Connection and the Vermont Comedy Club as well as venues more far flung like the Logan Theater in Chicago, Awa Kava in Miami, and Buddies in Bad Times for Toronto Pride 2017. Dylan is the founder and co-host of the Yes Homo! Podcast, which highlights the best and brightest LGBTQ+ comedians in Boston and beyond. He's also the producer for the monthly Queer Qomedy Hour at ImprovBoston. You can follow his (G-rated) escapades on Twitter and Instagram @dylanjuscher and @helloyeshomo.

Stine An

Cambridge, MA

Stine is a Boston-based comic who delights audiences with her charming deadpan delivery and dark wit. She tells pithy, absurdist jokes on the human condition to offer equal parts laughter and enlightenment. With winsome understatement, Stine ropes audiences into her unique frame of mind where a tragicomic zeitgeist prevails and people know what tragicomic zeitgeist means. Sometimes, Stine plays songs on the ukulele. Originally hailing from Duluth, GA (a.k.a the Koreatown of the South), Stine has performed nationally at colleges, comedy clubs, and comedy festivals including the Boston Comedy Festival, All Jane Comedy Festival, Women in Comedy Festival, the Laugh Riot Grrrl L.A. Comedy Festival, the Boston Comedy Arts Festival, the Chicago Women's Funny Festival, and the Decatur Arts Festival. She was the 2013 April Comic-in-Residence at The Comedy Studio.

#MadeinChina
Somerville, MA

#MadeinChina is a solo standup comedy act where I talk about my experiences being a Chinese (girl) immigrant living, working and dating in Boston. The act also covers some political issues and current affairs with dark humor.

Content Disclaimer

Given the ridiculously fun and unpredictable nature of improv, we can't guarantee age appropriateness (every audience gives different suggestions); we recommend Mainstage for those who enjoy PG-13 comedy. If possible profanity and riskier subject matter isn't your thing or you'd prefer not to enable your kids' uncouth tendencies, we highly recommend the Family Show and All Access Improv.
