1:00 pm - 1:50 pm - Lisa Lee from The Genesis Shop will discuss drug/alcohol workplace testing. Here is your opportunity to learn all about reasonable suspicion in the workplace, what to look for, and how to respond. The evolution and technology of drug testing has changed in the last 5 years - is your drug-free workplace policy up-to-date and are you implementing it?
2:00 pm - 2:50 pm - Dave Neumann is a consultant with The Center for Nonprofit Excellence and will discuss how to create a recognition culture. Recognition is every leader's opportunity for comunicating expectations, driving high standards, reinforcing performance, and creating engagement. While the positive impact of recognition is widely accepted, it is rarely used in practice, and where it is used, is often done so inappropriately. This session will explore the variety of ways, using practical examples that organizations are using to successfully build and leverage a recognition culture to drive their mission.
3:00 pm - 3:50 pm - Ashley Wimsett from Wimsett & Company will provide information on the best credit card processing practices including do's and don'ts when accepting credit/debit cards and information on the breakdown of the various fees that businesses pay for each transaction. She will also discuss industry updates with EMV and mobile and how that affects your business.
