About this event

The Bayville Music Festival has been around since 2016, and has grown to become New Jersey’s only Reggae Rock festival. Hosted by NJ’s own native band - Green Knuckle Material, this year’s festival will be one to remember. What started as a DIY backyard show has now evolved into an event you won’t want to miss with the biggest lineup in the Reggae Rock scene yet.
Bayville VII will be moving from the backyard to a beautiful local bayside venue called B2 Bistro & Bar. Along with some great music, you’ll also enjoy majestic views of Barnegat Bay, amazing food and drinks, a full service Tiki Bar, and for those that opt for our VIP package - access to a beautiful in-ground pool.
Be sure to grab your tickets soon to kick off Summer '23!
*This event will be rain or shine!

The Line Up
Badfish: A Tribute to Sublime
The phenomenon known as Sublime, arguably the most energetic, original and uniquely eclectic band to emerge from any scene, anywhere, ended with the untimely death of lead singer, guitarist and songwriter Brad Nowell in May of 1996. But encompassing the sense of place and purpose long associated with Sublime’s music, Badfish, a Tribute to Sublime continues to channel the spirit of Sublime with a fury not felt for some time. What separates Badfish from other tribute bands is that they have replicated Sublime’s essence, developing a scene and dedicated following most commonly reserved for label-driven, mainstream acts. Badfish make their mark on the audience by playing with the spirit of Sublime. They perform not as Sublime would have, or did, but as Badfish does!
Ballyhoo!
A rock band with punk energy and pop reggae grooves, Baltimore’s BALLYHOO! are a fun, fan-loving powerhouse. These road dogs have tirelessly toured coast-to-coast taking their music to the people. Between the road and the studio, BALLYHOO! have crafted a sound distinctly their own; fresh, fun, and embodied by the soul of the party lifestyle.
Green Knuckle Material
Festival host and Jersey natives, GKM is a hard hitting four piece with catchy hooks, energetic grooves, and sexy guitar riffs. These boys are a staple of the Jersey Shore having headlined the Legendary Stone Pony in Asbury Park.
The Ries Brothers
A duo from St Petersburg, FL, blend rock, blues, jam, funk, and reggae into a soulful sophisticated sound. Older brother Charlie (27) sings lead vocals while simultaneously playing drums and keyboard bass giving the band its unique and full sound. Younger brother Kevin Jordan (24) completes the band’s “sonic creativity” on guitar, ukulele, melodica, and provides background vocals.
Mike Pinto
Mike Pinto has crafted an exceptional style of songwriting, with a truly unique take on Roots, Vintage Rock, Reggae, Ska and Classic Surf, but it’s his distinct voice and seamless storytelling that has brought him success both in the United States and overseas.
Kosha Dillz (Festival MC)
Kosha Dillz is considered to be one of the most interesting rappers in the world. The Edison NJ turned Los Angeles transplant created a career from battling at Hot 97 Summer Jam at Giants Stadium to performing at synagogues, but has also created meaningful self deprecating songs about addiction and depression alongside songs like Dodging Bullets with Matisyahu that are aimed to fight Anti-Semitism.
ToyMachine!
Originators of SLUDGE. 4 piece Rock/Rap band. A clash of 90s grunge elements with today’s hip hop and alternative style.
DJ Headtrip
The Jersey Shore's Hottest DJ. Bringing the party to every stage and dance floor, guaranteed to take your head on a trip. Recently supported Steve Aoki in Philadelphia on NYE.
Joint Operation
Joint Operation is a powerful funky-rock band from Baltimore, MD. This explosive four-piece has made quite a presence up and down the East Coast and through out the Midwest.
Elephants Dancing
Formed in the summer of 2015, Elephants Dancing is a six piece ska/reggae band from North East, PA.
Bunktown Falls
Innovators of a style they dub “Gonzo Beach Rock", Bunktown's brand of music blends elements of Funk, Reggae, Punk & Rock and Roll to create a sound all their own. Their live show finds a perfect combination of high-energy driving jams, and laid back vibes which sets Bunktown Falls apart from the crowd.
