Over 300 Artists working in 19 different disciplines, Non-Profits, Music, Food, Beverages, Creative Zones in Downtown Houston!

Bayou City Art Festival – Downtown is presented each fall by Art Colony Association Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that produces art events that promote art, provide public awareness of the arts and fund designated nonprofit organizations. Hundreds of artists are joined by music, food, and fun. Over the past 46 years, the festivals have raised 3.5 million dollars benefitting local arts and community service organizations, Houston parks and arts education initiatives for children and adults. The Festivals are funded in part by grants from the City of Houston and through Houston Arts Alliance.

What is the Bayou City Art Festival Downtown 2018? The Downtown festival is one of the top 10 outdoor fine arts festivals in the nation. The two-day festival showcases the works of over 300 of the finest artists and craftsmen in the world. The outdoor event brings out more than 20,000 people into the heart of Downtown Houston offering visitors the opportunity to meet with exhibiting artists, fun, food, and entertainment.

How do I get to the festival and where can I park? There is plenty of parking near the festival: street level, privately owned surface lots, parking garages or underground parking is available downtown. Metered parking is also available. Check for rates at the meters.

What is the price of Admission? Discounted tickets may be purchased online prior to the event and at Houston area Randall's stores. General admission is $15 per adult (13 years and older) and $5 per child (6-12 years old) - Children under 5 are free.

What is a volunteer? You can help promote local and national artists, as well as local arts education programs by volunteering at the Bayou City Art Festival. And the best part is, you get to enter & enjoy the festival for FREE before and after your shift!

Are there places to eat? Yes, food trucks and a variety of other food and beverages vendors will be at the festival.

Are there ATMs available? Yes, ATMs are conveniently located on the festival site.

What can I use my credit or debit card to purchase at the festival? Credit or debit cards may be used to purchase festival admission tickets. You may also use a credit or debit card to purchase beverages and food (if accepted by independent food vendors).

I ordered my ticket online, how will I RECEIVE my ticket? Online tickets are e-tickets. Check your email inbox for your Order Confirmation from Eventbrite. Your e-tickets will be attached to your order confirmation email. Make sure to print and bring them to the event. Can I bring strollers, wagons or wheelchairs? Yes, all areas of the festival are accessible for strollers, wagon, and wheelchairs, but keep in mind there will be large crowds.
