Start/finish: Stephen Gregg Park, Bayonne NJ

Distance: 15-20mi

Coordinator: Cory Storch

Parking: Free parking at the north end of the park.

Directions: Use the Parkview Dr entrance off JFK Blvd near 48th St and drive downhill to the water.

Transit: 10 minute walk from the Hudson Bergen Line at 45th St, or take the bus #10 or #81 to the start.

Optional endpoints: Continue to Liberty State Park(20mi) or finish early with light rail.

Join us for a scenic and popular loop walk with harbor views of New Jersey and three boroughs of New York, along with views of the Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty and the Verrazano Narrows Bridge. Sweeping views of the region and waterways from the Bayonne Bridge. Enjoy food and old school shopping along Broadway in Bayonne. Light rail stations available for shorter options.

FreeWalkers is a non-profit 501(c)3 social organization and network for individuals interested in participating in distance walking events. Our group is free and open to everyone. We encourage each member to accomplish challenging goals as we work together, experience, and promote pro-pedestrian issues. Paricipants accept responsibity for themselves on the walk.
