The Secular Solstice is a gathering of those who reflect on the hardships of the past, live in the present, and work toward the future. Come for an evening of singing, silliness and solemnity. Come and hear stories of trial and triumph, of hope and concern for our world. Come to connect with others as people.
Last year, the first Bay area Solstice drew an attendance of 80 people. We gathered, candle-lit, to share what mattered to us. As it grows, we'd like to form a tradition that will endure. We're building a culture; a culture for all those who live on this earth.
