Event Details

The Bay Area MC Olympics is a live, youth-centered MC competition.  Designed by local hip hop artists, activists, educators, and culture keepers, the MC Olympics is a place for MCs from all across the Bay, ages 13 - 19 to show, build, and test their skills in the company of their peers, in the presence of their predecessors, and with the blessing of their elders.  Preliminary competition will take place on the same time on the same day, Friday, July 13th, 5:00 pm, at two different sites in Downtown Oakland--Pro Arts and the Cathedral Building.  Register and you will be assigned to a site.  PLEASE NOTE: This event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.  You do not need a ticket to attend.  REGISTER *ONLY* IF YOU PLAN TO COMPETE IN THE MC OLYMPICS!!!
