Naomi Pilosof
Naomi Pilosof (Product Manager, Evernote Food)

 

Talk Topic: User-Centered Design: Use Cases Trump Functionality

 

Speaker Bio: Naomi is passionate about helping new users understand the power of Evernote, whether it's through creating new entry points, like Evernote Food on iOS and Android, or by designing a first-launch experience for the main Evernote clients. Prior to joining Evernote, Naomi received her MBA from Stanford, where she took courses at the d.school as well. Her background also includes consumer web experience at Eventbrite and other products across media and entertainment.

 

Kara Hodecker
Kara Hodecker (Product Designer, Evernote)

 

Talk Topic: Experience First: Evernote's Shift to a UX-Focused Philosophy

 

Speaker Bio: Kara joined Evernote last summer as the very first female designer (sorry, boys!). She's currently the lead product designer on Evernote Food for iOS, working to make documenting your food experiences a more beautiful and memorable experience. After Kara received her BFA from RIT's New Media Design program, she worked at advertising and digital agencies AKQA and Odopod before finding her sweet spot in mobile product design at Yahoo!. When she's not pushing pixels, you'll find Kara running, cross-fitting, snowboarding or instagramming.
 
 
Nancy Fu Magee
Nancy Fu Magee (Product Manager, Commerce, Evernote)

 

Talk Topic: Freemium by Design: Avoiding the Bulleted List

 

Speaker Bio: As Evernote's Product Manager of Commerce, Nancy deals with all things payments-related, from in-app purchases to chargeback prevention. Prior to joining Evernote, she worked at PayPal and attended Stanford University, where she earned her BS in Computer Science. Outside of work, she likes cats and musicals, but not Cats, the Musical, because well, it kind of sucked.

Zeesha Currimbhoy (Senior Data Products Engineer, Evernote)

 

Talk Topic: Completing Your Thoughts: Building Useful Data Products

 

Speaker Bio: As a software engineer on the Data Products Team at Evernote, Zeesha's primary goal is to implement products that help the millions of Evernote users be more productive and feel more empowered with their own data. After completing her Masters in Software Engineering at Carnegie Mellon and working with Oracle for over three years Zeesha realized that she wanted to use her skill set to help a broader audience. Evernote has been the perfect place for her! 
 

 

Anuradha Raja Balasubramanian
Anuradha Raja Balasubramanian (Senior QA Engineer, Evernote)

 

Talk Topic: The Role of QA: Delivering Quality to the Community

 

Speaker Bio: Anuradha joined Evernote 2 years ago as a member of the QA team. Today she is responsible for leading QA efforts on mobile. She is responsible for testing Evernote's apps for Android on widely used tablets and phones. Prior to joining Evernote Anuradha had worked at Sony, Yahoo, EA as a Software QA Engineer.

 

Jamie Hull
Jamie Hull (Product Manager, Evernote Web and iOS)

 

Talk Topic: "Surprise, New Release!": Balancing New Designers and Old Expectations"

 

Speaker Bio: As the Product Manager for the web and iOS teams, Jamie strives to build great experiences for our users in all situations -- whether they're capturing notes on the go, or managing their business' settings online. Jamie spent a few years in web development before she found her passion managing consumer products at companies like Comcast, UpMo, Blurb and AOL. She holds an MBA from University of Maryland.

 

Karolyn Dector
Karolyn Dector (Director, Partner Integrations)

 

Talk Topic: Remember Everything: Why Evernote has an API

 

Speaker Bio: As a member of the Platform Team at Evernote, Karolyn focuses on the success of Evernote's development partners and the expansion of the Platform. Prior to joining Evernote, she enjoyed building the Account Management, Professional Services, and Product Management teams at Parature. Earlier in her career, Karolyn worked on various development projects as a software engineer for Alarm.com, MicroStrategy, and The Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab.  Karolyn holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Dartmouth College
