Bay Area Book Festival June 3 & 4, 2017
Description
Tickets are listed in the order they appear on the schedule and are easily referenced by using the session number. Check our website for the schedule with author bios and full session descriptions.
PLEASE NOTE: SESSIONS ON THE CHRONICLE STAGE IN THE PARK AND THE SHOWTIME STAGE (BOTH ARE OUTDOORS) ARE FREE WITH OPEN SEATING AND THUS ARE NOT LISTED ON THE TICKETING PAGE. YOU DO NOT NEED A TICKET FOR THESE SESSIONS.
Here's how ticketing works for the rest of the sessions:
Indoor Literary Sessions
There are two options for attending indoor literary sessions. All indoor sessions now require attendees to have either a Priority Admission Ticket or a General Admission Wristband. A Priority Admission Ticket guarantees you a seat at a single session of your choice. The General Admission Wristband allows you to get into any and all sessions (a great deal!) but only on a first-come, first-served basis. Here’s more about it:
Priority Admission Ticket $8: Don’t want to miss a special author? Guarantee your seat to that particular session! Get a ticket for only $8 and jump into the Priority Admission line. Be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes before the session’s start time.
General Admission Wristband $15: Roam the festival! With your General Admission Wristband you can go to any event that interests you, anytime Saturday and Sunday. The General Admission line is allowed in after the Priority Admission line is let in. General Admission seating begins 10 minutes before the session start time. Admission will be on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on availability.
Note that the film series at BAMPFA is separately ticketed through bampfa.org.
We look forward to seeing you there!
