Special JULY meeting offer!!!

The first 20 to pre-register will get a free raffle ticket for GenArts Sapphire Plug-Ins for Avid Media Composer!!!  Must be in attendance to win.

Our July meeting was going to be all about compression, codecs and what they mean to you.  Unfortunately, our scheduled presenter, Jonathan George, has had a minor accident and will be unable to present for us on July 13.  We wish him a speedy recovery and we will re-schedule him to appear at a later date.

Thankfully, Sid Levin & Bruce Lundeen have offered to do a presentation featuring DSLR cameras and workflows.  They will examine the new Technicolor  "CineStyle" picture profiles for the DSLR cameras and how they affect your shoot both on-location and during post.  We will examine mixing DSLR and traditional video cameras on two camera shoots, how to expedite the transcode of robust codecs using AMA, and how to use LUT (Look Up Tables) for color correction in Avid.

We hope to see you there.  If you have any questions about the presentation or this upcoming meeting, please email us at
