Who has the fittest Squad in Connecticut?
A non-crossfitter fitness competition for all First Responders.
3 Person Teams going head to head to test their Strength, Power, and Endurance.
Workout 1 "Titty Twister"
Each Athlete will have 90 seconds to perform as many Bench Press Reps as possible (135 for males, 95 for females) Each rep will count as one point.
*Team with the most points at the end of each person's round is the winner.
*Scale up option:(185 for males, 115 for females) At this weight, it will count as 2 points per rep. Teammates, can strip down to lower weight during the 90 seconds.
*Only one person will be benching at a time, there will be short transition period between teammates to set up.
Workout 2: "Pile Driver"
Teams of 3 will have 10 minutes to move 540# (12 45# plates) 100m using a Rogue Sled. The plates will start in a perfectly stacked pile and will have to be restacked across the 100m line also to finish. The plates may be stacked as high as 6/sled and only one person may push the sled at a time. Athletes can switch at any point during the push.
*For every female on the team, one plate (#45) will be removed from the pile(i.e. a team with one male and two female will only have to move 450#)
*Team who crosses the finish line with all their plates stacked perfectly and freestanding is the winner.
*Every plate not stacked at the end of the time cap will be + :10 sec added to their time.
Workout 3: "Hit and Quit"
Teams of 3 will have 20 minutes to complete:
100 Rogue Ball Slams (30#)
150 calories on the Assault Bike
A 2000m Row
*Only one athlete may work at a time
*Teams may switch athletes at any point and break up the reps/distance in any way.
*Movements must be performed in the order listed above before moving on to the next
* For each woman on the team 25 calories will be taken off the Assault Bike portion of the workout. (i.e. a Team with two males and one female only have to complete 125 calories) No other changes to the Row or Ball Slam.
Scoring: Teams with the most points at the end of all 3 events will be announced as the Winner. Proceeds will be donated to a non-profit chosen by the winner.
Prizes: There will prizes and bragging rights given to the top 3 finishes.
