Event description

Description

This is a Western Front ONLY event. It will be hosted at the Marseilles Training Center on February 23-25, 2018.

The Address for the property is: 1700 Army Rd, Marseilles, IL 61341.

TO REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT YOU WILL DO THE FOLLOWING:

  1. RESERVE YOUR TICKET VIA EVENTBRITE

  3. PRINT OUT AND BRING YOUR TICKET TO THE EVENT

Rules of the host property:

1.) No live ammunition is permitted on the premises.

2.) No live-loaded firearms (ie: Concealed carry pistols) are permitted in the Marseilles Training Center.

3.) No one is permitted to enter/leave the base after 11:00pm unless it is an emergency.

4.) Do not climb onto roof-tops or structures that do not provide a ladder or staircase.

4.) Do not kick in doors.

5.) Do not scale walls/fences.

6.) Do not dig holes or firepits.

7.) Do not start fires (ie: cooking/campfires)

8.) If you find any unexploded ordnance on the ground, immediately report it to event staff. DO NOT TOUCH IT. Record its location and report it. SIMPLE. This is a military training facility, the ordnance they use is dangerous.

9.) All Pyro must be approved by Event staff.

10.) NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES. IF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE FOUND THE OFFENDER WILL BE REMOVED. THIS IS A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY. DO NOT TEST EVENT STAFF.

Rules of engagement

1.) Take your hits. We expect all players to police themselves. If you walk into an open area, and hear direct gunfire, chances are you’ve been hit. If it is reported that a player is not taking their hits multiple times, that player will be removed from gameplay and will no longer be welcome to future MTC events.

2.) Engagement should take place no closer than 50 feet. IF you are within 50 feet of a player resort to BANG rules. (BFONGS are safe up to 30 feet)

3.) To capture a structure simply set foot in it. Or you may use APPROVED anti-structural weapons (grenades, panzerfausts etc). If an enemy combatant is able to enter the doorway, the occupying team is considered killed and must respawn.

4.) RANK STRUCTURE WILL BE OBSERVED. All participants will be notified of their commanding officers. They will follow all orders given to them without question and to the best of their abilities. Field decisions will need to be made on the squad level; but the event objectives will be changing through the day and will be determined by high command.

5.) DO NOT fire into building openings (ie: Windows and Doorways)

6.) DO NOT throw anything UNAPPROVED (ie Steel Dummy Grenades etc) into windows and doorways of structures.

7.) NO blind firing

8.) NO HAND TO HAND COMBAT IS PERMITTED.

9.) Police brass to the best of your ability and police your trash.

Respawn Process for the Participant:

When in the field we are operating with the honor system. The process for respawning will be as follows:

  1. When a participant is “hit” they will go down for 10 seconds to simulate the hit.

  2. When the participant is down they have 2 choices:

    1. Call for a medic and request a “Respawn Ticket”, remember the medics have a finite amount, so they will be issued as the medic sees fit.

      1. When issued a respawn ticket, the participant will hold onto it until the end of operations.

      2. When issued a respawn ticket, the participant may re-enter combat immediately.

    2. Should the participant decide not to request a medic, they must wait 10 seconds and walk to the nearest “aid station/respawn point” without their helmet.

      1. When they reach a friendly aid station, they will place their helmet upon their head, and return to combat immediately.

Respawn Process for Medics:

  1. When a participant is “hit” and they go down, the medic will approach the downed participant at their own discretion.

    1. Medics are not obligated to heal EVERY downed participant. They will determine who is a priority.

      1. Only a squad leader/higher ranking field commander, may instruct a medic to heal a specific person due to their importance/role.

  2. When they approach the downed participant they will issue them a “respawn ticket”.

    1. They will pull (1) ticket from their bag.

    2. Then they will hand the ticket to the downed participant, who will save the ticket.

    3. The participant is free to jump into action, while the medic may now tend to other wounded players.

Respawn Points/Aid Stations:

Aid stations will be found throughout the field. They are marked on personal maps with a red cross. Aid stations are capturable by enemy forces. The process of capturing an enemy or unclaimed respawns will be as follows:

  1. When a participant comes across an enemy spawn/aid station flag, they will flip the flag simply to their own. (Germans are Red and Americans will have a US Flag)

  2. When they flip the pole to their flag, the aid station will then belong to that team.

Respawn Rules:

-If any medic is caught tampering with any respawn tickets or the system, they will be relieved as a combat medic and sit out the rest of the day.

-When a medic is “hit” only another medic can revive him, if none are available they will go to the respawn.

-Medics CANNOT heal ENEMY players.

-When the participant is dead or in the process of respawning they CANNOT capture a spawn point.

-Medics cannot heal participants who are walking to their respawn point. They have made their choice to respawn, move on.
