Battery Park City Green Tour

Join OHNY and licensed tour guide, Bob Gelber, on a walk in Battery Park City, the first mandated "green" neighborhood in New York City. This area contains one of the largest concentrations of LEED certified buildings by the U.S. Green Building Council. Learn about LEED certification rules and levels. The highlight of the tour will be a behind-the-scenes tour of Riverhouse, a luxury, Gold LEED certified building. The tour will end at the Irish Hunger Memorial, the only "living memorial” in New York City.
Tour will meet in Bowling Green Park, just opposite the Alexander Hamilton U.S. Customs House at One Bowling Green.
