Come join us for a thrilling evening at Starved Rock State Park as we shine a light on these mysterious creatures of the night! Biologists from the Illinois Natural History Survey will lead a fascinating presentation about the importance of bats in our ecosystem, followed by an exciting night hike with ultrasonic equipment to detect bats in the area. This is a unique opportunity to learn more about these fascinating creatures and experience the beauty of the park after dark. Don't miss out on this unforgettable adventure!

Check in for the event will start at 6:15 p.m. The visitor center is closed to the general public after 5 p.m. but the doors will reopen for this event at 6:15 and close once the event begins at 6:30 p.m.
