This March, BATBA CAREER FORUM will present the special topic of Career Development in Taiwan. We invite two excellent speakers: Yu-Wei Wu, who is currently working in the academic field, and Keng-Ming Chang, who is in the pharmaceutical field to share their experiences.

Keng-Ming
Keng-Ming Chang is an associate director with the Sr Franchise Strategist role in MSD Taiwan. For the last 3-4 years, he has been in the marketing role as franchise lead, product manager and alliance manager. As a commercial role, Keng-Ming has been working with product strategy, financial planning, Omni-channel customer engagement. He is also a people manager now leading the agile team and marketing/ sales function before. Prior to the commercial role, Keng-Ming started his career as the Medical Science Liaison in MSD and been in the medical role for two years. The therapeutic area he experienced is diabetes/ cardiovascular/ Anesthesia/ HIV and Vaccine.

Yu-Wei Wu
Yu-Wei moved back to Taiwan in late 2019 and is an Assistant Research Fellow at the Institute of Molecular Biology, Academia Sinica. His research is in the field of neuroscience and neuro-engineering. Prior to that, he was a postdoctoral researcher and a research scientist at Stanford University (2013-2019). He holds a Ph.D. degree from University College London and worked at the Brain Science Institute in RIKEN, Japan (2007-2012).
